Marketing Manager, China 中国区市场经理

I’m Chamie, very excited to join Six Seconds emotional intelligence network in 2019 and now working in Shanghai. I like traveling, running and raising pets. In Six Seconds' training, I deeply experienced KCG -- know yourself, choose yourself and give yourself. It’s inspired me with more energy and positive change. I hope that we can support more people to practice EQ and achieve positive change together, which is one thing that also can bring me a sense of accomplishment and happiness.

I am Li Yuhan. In January 2018, I officially became a member of Six Seconds. I like this organization. One of the reasons is: I can feel our mutual understanding and cooperation here. In 2018, once, I sorted out the history and introduction of Six Seconds. When I discovered that "self science" was already 50 years old, my Thoughts-Feelings-Actions were:
T- I hope that I will be here for the next 50 years,
F - Touched,
A-continuous practice emotional intelligence to support more people.

I like fitness, raising flowers, traveling, and I hope that everyone knows what to do, physical and mental health!

Sue McNamara, PhD

Regional Network Director, Asia Pacific

Sue McNamara has over 25 years of experience in the field of leadership and training and over 15 years in the field of education. She is passionate about supporting organisations to create climates where people thrive: Schools where students are encouraged and supported to flourish and mature as human beings, who will positively contribute to their own lives, their families, their workplaces and society; businesses where people “bring their whole selves” to work with passion, purpose, and high performance.

Sue works with leaders, educators, and change makers in education, business, and community organizations to integrate emotional intelligence into their programs. She advocates an evidence-based approach blending strong data with practical processes to improve learning and application of EQ skills.

Her work in education focuses on school-wide implementation of emotional intelligence – from measuring and developing student EQ, to supporting leaders, teachers, counsellors and caregivers to create a positive climate for learning. Projects range from introductory programs to raise awareness through to multi-year implementations to create an optimal climate for learning.

Likewise, in business and government, Sue supports change makers to go from introducing EQ as a performance driver, to integrating emotional intelligence into organizational systems and structures. Projects include assessment and coaching, strategic planning, customized program development, and train-the-trainer processes to build capacity.

Sue is an Adjunct Associate Professor with the Faculty of Engineering at the National University of Singapore and holds Ph.D. in Education. Her doctoral research investigated the relationship between teacher/student and parent/child emotionally intelligent behaviours. In addition Sue is a Mater Trainer with Six Seconds and has qualifications in Teaching English as a Foreign Language, Tertiary Education, Advanced Child Protection, Neuro-Lingusitic Programming, Coaching EQ and Business and Finance. Sue has lived and worked in the Asia Pacific region for fifteen years.
