Situation

Siemens Healthineers is a global medical technology company. Its corporate team in Latin America faced unprecedented pressure because of economic and political upheaval in the region, and their company culture and operations began to suffer. Working in silos, transferring blame, thinking only about personal interests, and wasting time were among the typical challenges facing the team. The leadership team, based in Brazil, was dedicated to finding solutions. They brought in Kronberg, a consulting group based in São Paulo and a Six Seconds Preferred Partner, to help identify the issues and facilitate change.

Solution

Kronberg, Brazil’s leader for emotional intelligence in business, utilized personal, leadership and team assessments from Six Seconds to identify the issues. This helped clarify the problem and get team members “on the same page” about their priorities. Then they moved on to the stage of developing the skills people needed to work on their individual and team goals, with a combination of individual coaching, experiential learning, and retreat-like workshops over an 8-month period.
