Professional accomplishments include... Since joining the Six Seconds network, I have worked with over 100 companies across East & Southern Africa, supporting them to use Emotional Intelligence as a strategic resource to drive sustainable performance. I am the convener of the EQ4Africa Conference, an annual event started in 2019 that provides a platform for knowledge sharing, experiential learning & networking where participants share insights, develop practical skills & gain best practice tips on how to leverage Emotional Intelligence to thrive in the constantly evolving modern workplace. I am the host of the EQ@Work Podcast, with over 10,000 downloads, designed to support professionals who are keen to leverage the learnable skill of Emotional Intelligence to increase impact & effectiveness, build and strengthen professional relationships to maximise influence at work and achieve their big, hairy, audacious career goals. I am the host & moderator of the monthly EQ Lunch 'n Learn Series, a free LinkedIn & Youtube LIVE event with over 2,000 views, that aims to provide professionals with insight into how they can utilise Emotional Intelligence as a skill to successfully navigate the challenges & changes that they face.

 A few past experiences... Before discovering EQ I worked in the UK in the financial services sector. I had a stint in insurance sales in the financial district in London, as banker to a primarily retired client base in the leafy suburbs of Epsom and training stockbrokers for a Financial Services company in Canary Wharf

One reason I'm personally passionate about emotional intelligence is... Because EQ has transformed my life! I joined Six Seconds with the view to support my clients - leaders, teams & organisations across Africa, but I am the biggest beneficiary. EQ has empowered me to live life on purpose & with impact

Favorite... Anyone who knows me will tell you that my favourite colour is red. My favourite pastime is making memories - with my family & friends. My favourite me-thing is prayer & meditation - my relationship with God fuels everything!

I'd love to talk to you about... ...self awareness. I am blown away by the idea that we can only really go as far forward in life as we are willing to go inward. I truly believe that a deeper understanding of self if the first & most important step towards achieving our big, hairy, audacious life & career goals!
