Join us June 23 13:00-16:00 during London Climate Action Week for a restorative session that is intergenerational, global, and focuses on the power of emotions to support the inner skills that make climate action sustainable

WHY IT MATTERS

Working on the frontline of climate justice? You can’t build a livable future if you’re running on empty. Emotional resilience isn’t a luxury– a necessity and you can develop skills to support your own inner sustainability.

SESSIONS INCLUDE

Welcome Emotions! — Science-based emotional intelligence skill building helps you welcome emotions, respond rather than react, stay grounded under pressure, and lead with purpose and heart.

Story Exchange Circles — This isn’t just storytelling. It’s radical empathy. In small groups, we’ll share personal stories to find allies, hold space for emotions, and spark deeper understanding. When we transform personal and collective narratives we build a foundation of empathy for inner sustainability.

Creative Expression Lab — Make some noise. Fill yourself with joy. Whether you consider yourself an artist or not, this is your space to express climate emotions in bold, embodied, joyful, collaborative ways.

Resilience Building — Glow up your resilience. Emotions are your renewable resource, your inner fire. In this activation, you’ll tap into the spark that keeps you burning and you’ll contribute to a growing global study on emotional resilience and long-term outcomes for changemakers.

About Climate of Emotions

Climate of Emotions (COE) is a community-based emotional resilience program developed by Six Seconds and presented with our partners Force of Nature and Narrative 4 to support wellbeing in the face of the climate crisis. COE addresses an often overlooked dimension of climate change: its emotional impacts on people and communities. The program recognizes that the climate crisis is fundamentally different from a single emergency event — there is no “after” in which life returns to normal, and communities need tools to build resilience in the face of an ongoing, uncertain future. Research  conducted with the Yale Education Collaboratory demonstrates measurable reductions in climate anxiety alongside increases in resilience, connection, and sense of agency. www.6seconds.org/climate
