EQ Master Coach Overview
Accredited by the ICF as a Level 3 program, this training meets all education and mentoring requirements for the Master Certified Coach (MCC) credential while guiding you to weave emotional intelligence into every layer of your coaching practice. Throughout the course you’ll delve into master‑level integration of the ICF Core Competencies, practice advanced EQ coaching techniques, sharpen presence, intuition, and resonance in conversations, and learn to use emotions as leverage for client breakthroughs. You’ll also gain deep expertise with Six Seconds’ tools—especially the SEI Assessment—and help co‑create the future of EQ coaching through ongoing innovation and insight. Upon completion, you’ll earn both a Level 3 certificate that counts toward your MCC application and the Certified EQ Master Coach credential from Six Seconds.

EQ Master Coach Certification (EQMCC)
Achieve coaching mastery through 80 hours of ICF-accredited training (+ additional 1-1 & Group Mentoring hours).
L3 Completion:
Additional Mentoring & Post-project ICF Exam
Submit a capstone and a recording demonstrating integration of EQ methodology, and apply for MCC credential through ICF, or renew your PCC.
EQ Master Coach Course Prerequisites & Requirements
Prerequisite to Join the Course:
- PCC certification (or equivalent), with at least 1,000 hours of logged coaching
- Strong familiarity with Six Seconds’ methods** If you’re new to Six Seconds, we’ll support you through pre-course learning.
Requirements to Earn “EQ Master Coach” Certification:
- Completion of all components of the program, including the final project
- Demonstrated expertise in Six Seconds’ methodology — for example, conducting at least 100 SEI debriefs (Six Seconds Emotional Intelligence Assessment)** This level of expertise is not required to attend — only to earn certification.

International Coaching Federation
The International Coaching Federation accredited Six Seconds’ coaching school at it’s highest level. EQMC is a “Level 3 Training Program” granting ___ hours of accredited coach education; graduates complete their demonstration of competence directly with Six Seconds for an expedited process to achieve Associate or Professional coach certifications from ICF. Six Seconds also holds Level 1 Associate and Level 2 EQ Coach accreditation.
