Paige Dest, EQPC Mentor Coordinator, In Memoriam
Paige passed away suddenly at the start of November, 2022. She was a dear colleague, a champion of the POP-UP Festival in partnership with UNICEF World Children's Day, a mentor, and a tireless advocate for a more emotionally intelligent world. The words colleagues used to describe Paige: generous, committed, kind, supportive, giving, humble, enthusiastic, joyful.
Our condolences to Paige's family and friends. We will miss you.

My Noble Goal is... Champion the expansion of people practicing EQ around the world
My work is about... Support Super Mentors in guiding POP-UP Festival Hosts
Professional accomplishments include... Growing the community of "Super Mentors" for POP-UP Festival in partnership with UNICEF World Children's Day. I created an Emotional Self-Care program that has been translated into Spanish. I'm also a Guest Facilitator for the Institute for Social and Emotional Intelligence.
A few past experiences...I worked almost 30 years in banking; I was Teacher of the Year for CFT in 2008 (Southeastern CT). I founded a non-profit to support social emotional learning for youth in Connecticut.
One reason I’m personally passionate about emotional intelligence is….because I've experienced the empowerment of managing my thoughts and behavior through understanding my emotions.
