The mission of Twin Cities R!SE is to transform the lives of those impacted by racial or socio-economic barriers through Personal Empowerment, career training, and meaningful employment. In order to quantify the impact of its emotional intelligence-based Personal Empowerment Training, Twin Cities R!SE initiated a partnership with Six Seconds in 2017. The program uses the SEI, the world’s leading emotional intelligence assessment, to measure both EQ and Outcomes.

Recognizing the need for social and emotional development in addition to providing hard skills and career opportunities, Twin Cities R!SE founded The Empowerment Institute in 2002 to teach emotional intelligence and personal empowerment.
