Spiritual Emotional Intelligence (SEQ) is all about connection—to yourself, people you know, and the larger world. How can we live more congruently, more often? You might think of SEQ as a way to supercharge the Noble Goal—that overarching sense of purpose that helps us stay in alignment across all areas of our lives.
When we consider both the spiritual and emotional aspects of ourselves, we gain new perspectives about ourselves and our relationships. Building on the SEI (Six Seconds Emotional Intelligence Assessment), this new SEQ assessment includes additional questions to capture the connection dimension in three domains: Awareness, Belonging, and Insight.
Learn what drives connection in these domains and how to use the SEQ Profile to help yourself and clients deepen their alignment in all areas of their lives. In this virtual training, you will receive your own SEQ Profile and learn how to interpret it, as well as consider action steps to make desired changes moving forward. Join this 3-session virtual training to be certified to use the SEQ Profile powered by Six Seconds and brought to you by Preferred Partner Spirit of EQ.
- Learn to interpret the SEQ profile report
- Deepen your understanding of your own connection with yourself, others, and the larger world
- Consider pathways for greater alignment for yourself and your clients
There are three 60-minute virtual classes focusing on the following elements:
- Understanding the SEQ model (drivers and domains), alignment, bubble size and position
- Interpreting the SEQ tiles and understanding their connection to the drivers and domains
- Using the SEQ Profile with a client/practice interpretation and coaching/instructions for project completion and certification
Participants will be required to spend approximately one hour following each session on reflection or practice assignments, for a total of approximately 6 hours. The final project will include setting up an SEQ Profile and debriefing with a client.
After each session, course participants will submit their reflection of the learning to the course instructors, along with any specific applications of the learning. This will include using their own profile to synthesize the learning and application. During the second and third virtual sessions, they will have the opportunity to discuss with other participants their insights from the previous session.
After the third session, the final project will be to set up and debrief an SEQ client and submit a written reflection of the process. In addition, they will be asked to submit “Two stars and a wish” feedback for the course.
The course is led by Jeff East and Eric Pennington of Spirit of EQ, and Jim and Lynette Vaive, North America Regional Directors, Six Seconds. Full bios.
Accreditation (recap what needs to be done to earn credits):
To earn the ACE units, participants are required to attend all 3 one-hour and 15 minute virtual sessions, plus complete the 3 post-session assignments (1 after each online session). The final assignment includes setting up and debriefing at least one SEQ profile with a client and a written reflection of that process. The first and second assignments must be completed before the next class. The final assignment is due one month after the last session.
