Event: ace | 4 Jun 2018 , United States San Diego CA

Price: $195 | More: PDF brochure or link

Spiritual Emotional Intelligence (SEQ) is all about connection—to yourself, people you know, and the larger world. How can we live more congruently, more often? You might think of SEQ as a way to supercharge the Noble Goal—that overarching sense of purpose that helps us stay in alignment across all areas of our lives.

When we consider both the spiritual and emotional aspects of ourselves, we gain new perspectives about ourselves and our relationships. Building on the SEI (Six Seconds Emotional Intelligence Assessment), this new SEQ assessment includes additional questions to capture the connection dimension in three domains:  Awareness, Belonging, and Insight.

Learn what drives connection in these domains and how to use the SEQ Profile to help yourself and clients deepen their alignment in all areas of their lives. In this live training, you will receive your own SEQ Profile and learn how to interpret it, as well as consider action steps to make desired changes moving forward. Join this 3-hour live training to be certified to use the SEQ Profile powered by Six Seconds and brought to you by Preferred Partner Spirit of EQ.

Learning Objectives:

  • Learn to interpret the SEQ profile report
  • Deepen your understanding of your own connection with yourself, others, and the larger world
  • Consider pathways for greater alignment for yourself and your clients

Participants: The SEQ Profiler Certification is open to those seeking to deepen their practice of emotional intelligence by considering the impact of the spiritual dimension. With no requirement to be SEI certified to use this profile version of the Spiritual Emotional Intelligence assessment, this training is open to anyone interested in using the SEQ Profile for personal or professional use with clients.

Instructional Methods:

SEQ Profiler training objectives:

  1. Understanding the SEQ model (drivers and domains), alignment, bubble size and position
  2. Interpreting the SEQ tiles and understanding their connection to the drivers and domains
  3. Using the SEQ Profile with a client/practice interpretation and coaching/instructions for project completion and certification

Participants will be required to take the SEQ assessment prior to the live session and bring their own SEQ Profile to the training. Using a combination of experiential learning activities and reflective exercises, the live session will focus on understanding the model and interpreting the results of the SEQ Profiles, as well as applying the tiles to practice.  Finally, participants will practice debriefing the profile in pairs or small groups.

Assessment Procedures:

The final project will be to set up and debrief an SEQ client and submit a written reflection of the process. In addition, they will be asked to submit “Two stars and a wish” feedback for the certification training.

The course is led by Jeff East, Operations Manager, Spirit of EQ, and Jim and Lynette Vaive, North America Regional Directors, Six Seconds. Full bios.

Accreditation (recap what needs to be done to earn credits):

To earn the ACE units, participants are required to take the online assessment and study the SEQ Profile interpretation guide, attend the 3-hour live training session, and complete the final assignment. The final assignment includes setting up and debriefing at least one SEQ profile with a client and submitting a written reflection of that process. The final assignment is due 30 days after the live session.
