Webinar One: Change and You

September 20, 2018 ¨ 12:00 pm EDT

Margaret Mead said, Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.” Are you one of those people? And if so, what do you wish to bring to the table as an agent of change? This first in a series of seven 75-minute webinars focused on you as the change agent. You will enhance and develop your skills and knowledge and discover how EQ contributes to your mastery of transformational change.

In this Webinar you will be presented the opportunity to learn…

  • To more accurately identify and name the nature of a particular change.
  • How the success of a change effort can be affected (either positively or negatively)
by the EQ of the leaders, change agents and others.
  • How to more accurately and effectively take key actions to bring about
    successful change.

Upcoming Webinars:

Webinar Two: The Change Map, October 2018

Engage, Activate, Reflect. A seemingly simple model for bringing about change that is actually the tip-of-the iceberg of a very rich trove of approaches and information that are the tools of change.  Like any set of tools, they are only as good the person wielding them. How effective can these tools be in your hands?

Webinar Three: Your Case for Change Part 1, November 2018

Let’s make it real. Each participant will have the opportunity to create a strategy for an upcoming or on-going change that begins to incorporate the principles covered in the webinar.

Webinar Four: Engage, December 2018

Gandhi’s famous quote, “Be the change you wish to see in the world” has become a popular trope. But what does it really mean? How can you be the change? Change starts with self-awareness and engaging others. The way you engage with others is based on what you know about yourself and your patterns, what you choose to do and what underlying energy you give drives you. Know, Choose, Give: A cycle of applying Emotional Intelligence to change.

Webinar Five: Activate, January 2019

Planning and acting; transforming the potential energy generated in the Engage Phase into a kinetic powerhouse of meaningful and inspiring action.  Let’s explore your action toolkit and ours and see what works.

Webinar Six: Reflect, February 2019

Kurt Lewin, the father of modern Change Theory said, “If you want truly to understand something, try to change it.” You can only learn so much from thinking and planning about the change you wish to bring about. It’s in the doing that the true challenges and opportunities emerge. Taking the time and place to reflect on your learning and apply the insights you gain are critical to successful change.

Webinar Seven: Your Case for Change Part 2, March 2019

The final question: Does your approach to change hold-up? Each participant will have the opportunity to share their approach with other participants to receive insights and feedback.
