Co-Create Facilitators

Climate of Emotions includes a self-guided curriculum grounded in Emergent Strategy and Six Seconds’ emotional intelligence methodology. To support participants to bring this to life, each day we have small groups working together to “co-create” meaning and connection. Skilled facilitators from around the world have volunteered to support this renewal process so we can offer sessions at many times of day.

Daeyoung Kim –  Coach, EQ Practitioner, Assessor, Facilitator | EQ Network Leader of Six Seconds | Founder & CEO of I.M.I, Korea

Daeyoung Kim designs and provides a space for innovators to find their own talents, collaborate with fellow innovators and make our dream come true. Her vision is to build an inclusive society for all. Prior to her current career, Daeyoung served as a public diplomacy specialist in the U.S. Embassy Seoul for two decades with her portfolio to cover women’s empowerment, youth empowerment, art and culture to increase public awareness for the bilateral relationship. Her greatest joy is to ignite a transformational power in you. 

Amina Khalifa – Founder/ PCC Coach & EQ Consultant (CoreSenses), UAE

Amina Khalifa is a leadership consultant, EQ & NLP/ ICF PCC coach and facilitator. A Mechanical Engineer who has a belief in people’s potential and a passion to optimize their leadership skills personally & professionally with Emotional Intelligence.
Amina supports organizations in building leadership capacity by working with C-Level executives, as well as young leaders, through coaching and facilitating interventions to enable & support growth and sustainable change.

Ayaka Mawary – EQ Facilitator, Founder, DAIJOUBU Yokohama, Japan

Ayaka Mawary, Japan and U.S. based advanced EQ facilitator, founder at DAIJOUBU (means “you’re safe; we’re alright in Japanese”), mother of two children, and singer-songwriter. Hopes to bring hopes and dignity in this uncertain and unbalanced world especially the future generations by sharing virtual spaces of safety.

Joanna Brewster, EQCC, EQPC, EQAC – Owner, Heart Talks Vancouver, Canada

Joanna seeks to empower individuals to develop their leadership potential and best self. Her purpose is to foster empathy to deepen connection and understanding with others, open minds to work for equity, and embrace joy in the present moment. She is the founder of Heart Talks, focused on uncovering what is at the heart of you, your organization, your family or your team and Feeling Talks which focuses on deepening emotional literacy and self awareness.

Toney A. Olton – Principal Consultant, Christ Church, Barbados

Toney brings a rich background of training, leadership and the management of group dynamics experience to his work as a people, leadership, business and service excellence consultant, trainer, facilitator and coach. His commitment to continuous learning has seen him complete graduate studies in Management and The Psychology of Work and certification as an emotional intelligence practitioner, educator and assessor with 6 Seconds. He is also a certified NLP Master Practitioner (Global NLP).

Antonia Ferrier – Consultant/Founder, Definitive Management Solutions Ltd, Trinidad & Tobago

In both her professional and personal life, Antonia Ferrier, is known for her passion, thoroughness, and desire to leave any situation in a better state than she found it. Prior to opening her Strategy Consulting & Performance Coaching practice, Antonia spent over 20 years in the Trinidad and Tobago’s energy sector. Seeing some of the clean energy strategies she contributed to come to life has been rewarding. She’s excited to see what linking emotions to climate change will bring.

I taught for 20 years in the UK primary education system, and now work as a freelance consultant, focusing on bringing EQ to schools. A certified Six Seconds EQ Practitioner, Assessor, Coach and Educator, my pedagogy and philosophy is about the whiole person, not just the pupil and not just their teacher – using our EQ to develop as fully rounded citizens of the world, with empathy at the core of everything we do.

Mary Gioffrè – EQ Facilitator & Program Manager, Six Seconds Italia, Milan, Italy

I’m a white woman and I’m currently based in Italy. Before working as Coach and EQ facilitator, I worked as ESL teacher in Cambodia and Turkey and lived in different countries. In Istanbul I was also a board member of an international organization promoting women’s empowerment and fighting against gender-based violence. I’m passionate about solo traveling and social enterprises and my noble goal is to support people discover their inner and outer world with courage and kindness.

FUNTAZIA is the first organization in Bulgaria creating our own educational resources and prof. materials, based on international scientifically-proven programs and methods for the development of social-emotional competences and EQ in children. The purpose is to be used in nurseries, kindergartens, schools and families. Nathalie Caycedo is the founder of SER-KALLAI, a non-profit that develops programs and workshops for children and youth based on SEL, positive psychotherapy and holistic well-being, and provide them to populations at-risk. Aleasa Word is a diversity strategist, certified emotional intelligence practitioner, coach and speaker. Gretchen Person – Vanderbilt University

Gretchen Person serves as Associate University Chaplain at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. She has studied at Harvard University, Yale University, and the Goethe Institute in Murnau, Germany. She is a master practitioner and trainer with Narrative 4. She is certified as a Grief Support Specialist (University of Wisconsin, Madison), and has a certificate in Leadership (Vanderbilt Owen Graduate School of Management) and a certificate in Leadership & Conflict Resolution (e-Cornell). Gretchen leads Narrative 4 initiatives at Vanderbilt University and her passions include storytelling, sustainability, and DEI.

Dawn Duncan – Narrative 4

Dr. Dawn Duncan has worked with Narrative 4 since 2015, establishing the organization at her college, across Minnesota & the Dakotas. She now serves as an N4 Master Practitioner, Trainer & Advisor to Colleges & Universities. Dawn is Professor Emeritus of English, Film & Global Studies, Concordia College-Moorhead, MN and has authored 3 books, many essays, and a radio-play. Dawn lives in Las Cruces, New Mexico, and enjoys life there with her husband and beloved rescue dogs.

Veronica Jensen, EQCC, ACC – L&D Professional, Coach, and Voice-Over Actor, Nevada, USA

Veronica is driven by the belief that we grow best in relationship with one another & enjoys examining what it means to live into every dimension of the full human experience together. As an L&D professional, EQ Coach, and student of somatics & applied improv, Veronica has coached & facilitated SEL programs both inside and outside of organizations. She’s enlivened by the opportunity to come together in community as stewards of our home planet to co-create equitable and sustainable paths forward.

Robyn’s experience includes over 20 years of leadership in Australia and China delivering training, mentoring and coaching programs, whilst leading diverse cultural teams. Her passion and training in EQ began in China and has continued since returning home to Australia, completing many EQ courses and webinars. Robyn delivers leadership training, is a volunteer network leader for Six Seconds & has established her own business to assist more people to learn & practice EQ to drive positive change in their life.

Valerie Striar – Narrative4

Valerie Striar is a Master Practitioner, facilitator and advisor with Narrative 4. Since 2015, she has been fortunate to facilitate national and international story exchanges between teens, adults and West African refugees. Valerie is also a mindfulness educator and currently teaches at Millennium High School in Brooklyn, NY. Valerie leads seasonal mindfulness and meditation classes at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden with the intention of supporting our interconnection and reverence for the earth. Valerie is a creator and performer of dance and theater works.

Andrea Stone – Stone Leadership – India

Andrea works with leaders and leadership teams globally to build self-aware, purposeful and systems-driven leadership – all of which requires EQ.  She draws on her 30-years of corporate and coaching experience, and diverse EQ tools, to support change at the individual, team and organization level. Andrea especially enjoys working with multi-cultural, technology-oriented organizations to support cultural and behavioural change, and blend humanity with tech. Based in India, her pro-bono work is directed at supporting women in emerging markets achieve their personal and professional goals.

How will you cocreate at COE?

The transformative power of this festival comes from the involvement, imagination, and mutual sharing of the participants. In order to facilitate this and enable generative vulnerability, the environment will be intentionally designed and facilitated to be affirming and culturally expansive. Some of the plans for this include:

Centering voices of youth and those from marginalized groups

Utilizing trained mentors to support inclusive dialogue

Setting and reinforcing clear ground rules for engagement

The Climate of Emotions virtual conference is produced by Six Seconds, The Emotional Intelligence Network, Produced partnership with Climate Resilient and more allies from around the globe. The program will be culminate in sharing the GREEN 13 POP-UP Festival, in partnership with UNICEF World Children’s Day.
