To celebrate the United Nations’ Universal Children’s Day, November 20, allies in 100+ countries will collaborate to bring more emotional intelligence awareness and resources to children and the adults who support them… and you are invited to be part of it!
The EQ #ChildrensDay celebration will increase awareness of the essential role that emotional intelligence plays in our children’s well-being, in our relationships with them; and in turn, in their capacity to make a positive difference in the world.
The United Nations declared Universal Children’s Day to encourage societies to support the wellbeing of children. November 20th is the anniversary of the signing of Convention on the Rights of the Child, the most widely-signed human rights legislation in the history of the world.
To celebrate, we’re holding POP-UP Festivals in 100+ countries this November — where children and their adults will learn about emotions, wellbeing, and children’s rights.
Sign up to hold a POP-UP Festival — for ANY size group of children, adults, or both together.
You’ll get a complete kit to download with the POP-UP Festival “stations” with a wide range of activities. You choose the ones that fit your group, print them, and have a learning-together-party!
Anyone can join! Children and everyone who cares about children, like parents, police officers, teachers, nurses…
Do this anywhere! Your POP-UP Festival can be held at home, in a classroom or church, at an office lobby, a children’s museum, in the park…anywhere children and the people who love them live, work & play.
Let us promote and celebrate children’s rights on the Universal Children’s Day, and continuously build up a living-friendly environment for children in the world through dialogue and actions.
EQ #ChildrensDay celebration will create a long-lasting impact as participants will spread enthusiasm and skills for practicing emotional intelligence. Children and adults will have specific skills and practical tools they will use everyday and into the future… and organizations participating will strengthen community as children, adults, or children + adults celebrate and learn together.
Bring Your Organization
If your work or community group relates to children’s rights, wellbeing, or emotional intelligence — join as an organization:
- Invite your members to hold their own POP-UP Festivals
- Contribute content by making a POP-UP Festival “station” that people around the world can use in their events
- Have a POP-UP Festival with your organization
Join EQ #ChildrensDay!
Fill in the form below to sign up to be part of the celebration! We’ll provide the instructions and kit — you bring together a group (4 people in your kitchen, 40 in your classroom, 400 in your office lobby, 4000 in your children’s museum…) — and you’ll have a POP-UP Festival!
Organizations are invited to sign up to share the materials with their members — to contribute a POP-UP Festival “station” in the kit — and to help spread the word.
There is no keener revelation of a society’s soul than how it treats its children.
