    ===========================

    In science, "resiliency" means the power of a substance to return to
    its original form after being twisted, stretched, or manipulated. In
    EQ terms, not only does resiliency help us return to our original
    forms, but with added knowledge, skills, and stamina. Resiliency is
    not just survival--it is fueled by a commitment to growth, to the
    future, and to goodness.

    "If you want the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain."
    -- Dolly Parton

    Research says...
    Resilient individuals can block out the negativity of their
    surroundings/environment. Instead, they see opportunities in
    obstacles; they believe stumbling blocks are stepping stones; they
    recognize that frustration can be a force to teach new skills; that
    problems are places to try more creative strategies.

    Try this:
    Create a device to hold an egg so you can drop it 10' without the
    egg breaking. Draw or paint a device that would protect you in a
    similar manner. How would that device make you feel?
