- Any purchase from Six Seconds may be returned unused in original condition within 30 days of purchase for a complete refund of purchase price. Refund will be granted upon receipt of materials in original condition. All postage and shipping is the responsibility of the purchaser.
Training
- If you are not satisfied with a seminar, course, or on-site training, Six Seconds will refund your training fee. Simply send a written request and indicate how much of a refund you would like -- you pay only what you feel the service is worth.
This guarantee is available within 30 days of any Six Seconds training or course to any fully paid participant or client who completes the entire course.
Disclaimer: This is a satisfaction guarantee, not a warantee of fitness or a performance guarantee. The exercise of the satisfaction guarantee does not remove any indeminification, and does not waive any provision of Six Seconds' terms of use.

Security:
- We use industry standard, SSL (secure socket layer) encryption, our servers are monitored 24 hours a day.
Receipts:
- You will receive an automatic receipt for each and every transaction on our system. If you see a problem, simply reply to that message and inform us the error.
Payment:
- Six Seconds accepts Visa, Mastercard, and, for customers in North America, Purchase Orders (POs).
Shipping:
- We endeavor to ship orders within 72 hours, and many orders go out in 24 hours. Most orders are shipped by Priority Mail without tracking. If you wish to track your order, upgrade to second day or overnight shipping.
If you have a rush order, call Six Seconds at (650) 685-9885 to confirm shipping and to upgrade to overnight or second-day shipping. If you do not receive an order within 14 days (30 days for international orders), then there is a problem and we encourage you to contact us.
Six Seconds' Privacy Policy
Six Seconds will not disclose your personal information to third parties without your consent, expect as required by law to authorized law enforcement officials. We do not sell mailing lists or email address.
The information you provide for your personal Six Seconds Account is shared among the Six Seconds sites, and used internally to improve our services.
Six Seconds shares cumulative information about users such as the numbers of educators, trainers, or families seeking information about emotional intelligence -- but your individual and personal information is not identifyable in any way in these reports.
When you register for a Six Seconds Profile, for online shopping or transactions, or for services that require registration or subscription, we will ask for personal information such as your address, credit card information, and phone number. In case you change your mind or some personal information changes (such as your ZIP code), we will endeavor to provide a way to correct, update, or remove the personal data you give us. You can do this at the Edit Profile page us at staff@6seconds.org
If you are legally a minor, please do not submit any information without your parent or guardian's permission.
USE OF IP ADDRESSES
An IP address is a number that's automatically assigned to your computer whenever you're surfing the Web. It does not tell anything about you personally or your home computer -- only the big computer to which you have connected to get on the internet.
Our system keeps track of IP addresses to help with security and to generate aggregate reports, such as the number of users visiting a site each day.
Some services within our sites, such as some message boards, may display IP addresses along with the message poster's name and message. Please review each service prior to use and only use those that disclose information you are comfortable with sharing.
USE OF COOKIES
Cookies are tiny pieces of data that a website sends to your computer so your preferences and visit information can be saved from visit-to-visit. For example, if you log in and create a profile on our system, your computer will get a cookie so that the system recognizes you when you return. Your Profile is password-protected so that only you can access it and view the member information relevant to the account. We recommend that you do not divulge your password to anyone. You are responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your passwords and any account information.

For materials that are downloadable for reproduction, purchased, or for which reproduction is permitted, you are licensed to use those materials for non-commercial training and educational purposes or for other (commercial) training where less than 50% of the content is derived from Six Seconds Materials. These materials must be used in a manner consonant with their intent. These materials may not be included or form the basis of any for-sale product without the express written consent of Six Seconds.
Training may not be advertised using the name or trade marked logo of "Six Seconds," and may not purport to be sponsored or endorsed by Six Seconds.
If you wish to use materials for commercial purposes (i.e, if you are paid to use these materials) and any of the following are true, you must participate in Six Seconds' training and become certified as an Associate Trainer:
- - 20 minutes or more of the content of your presentation is derived from Six Seconds' materials (your presentation is substantially derived from Six Seconds' materials).
- - Six Seconds' name and/or logo are used in any promotion or marketing.
- - Six Seconds' staff are involved in the training.
- This grant of license is revocable at Six Seconds' sole discretion. This license in no way confers ownership of Six Seconds' materials, and expressly forbids any illegal use.
For any use of Six Seconds' materials, including but not limited to publication, presentation, training, or coaching, you agree to fully credit Six Seconds.
If you use Six Seconds materials in works you create, Six Seconds retains copyright to the underlying work and to the derivative work as specified by US Copyright law.
SUBMISSIONS
Any and all postings, messages, articles, presentations, activities, art work, notes, or other matter submitted to Six Seconds or through the website (collectively, the "Submissions"), shall be deemed, and shall remain, the property of Six Seconds. None of the Submissions shall be subject to any obligation of confidence on the part of Six Seconds, and Six Seconds shall not be liable for any use or disclosure of any Submissions. Without limitation of the foregoing, Six Seconds shall exclusively own all now known or hereafter existing rights to the Submissions of every kind and nature and shall be entitled to unrestricted use of the Submissions for any purpose whatsoever, commercial or otherwise, without compensation to the provider of the Submissions.
FORUMS AND PUBLIC COMMUNICATION
"Forum" means a chat area, bulletin board, or e-mail function offered as part of 6seconds.org. You shall not upload to, distribute through, or otherwise publish through our websites any content that is libelous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, threatening, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, abusive, illegal, or otherwise objectionable that would constitute or encourage a criminal offense, violate the rights of any party, or otherwise give rise to liability or violates any law.
The Forums shall be used only in a noncommercial manner. You shall not, without our express approval, distribute or otherwise publish any material containing any solicitation of funds, promotion, advertising, or solicitation for goods or services. You specifically acknowledge that soliciting other 6seconds.org guests to join or become members of any commercial online service or other organization is expressly prohibited. Guests shall remain solely responsible for the content of their messages.
By uploading materials to any Forum or submitting any materials to us, you automatically grant (or warrant that the owner of such rights has expressly granted) us a perpetual, royaltyfree, irrevocable, nonexclusive right and license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, and distribute such materials or incorporate such materials into any form, medium, or technology now known or later developed. In addition, you warrant that all so-called moral rights in those materials have been waived.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of this site does not violate the laws of California, the United States, or your local and national laws.

You may terminate these terms at any time by destroying all materials obtained from any and all Six Seconds site(s) and all related documentation and all copies and installations thereof, whether made under the terms of these terms or otherwise. These terms will terminate immediately without notice from Six Seconds if in Six Seconds' sole discretion you fail to comply with any term or provision of these terms. Upon termination, you must destroy all materials obtained from this site and any and all other Six Seconds site(s) and all copies thereof, whether made under the terms of these terms or otherwise.

If any provision of these terms shall be unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable from these terms and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.
