Memorandum I have worked extensively with Anabel over the year as a member of the Educational Effectiveness Task Force. In preparation for the WASC 2006 visit, the Planning and Budgeting Committee formed a task force to begin to plan for and address NDNU's assessment of educational effectiveness. Anabel contributed both ideas and planning work to the task force. Anabel was a trainer at faculty workshops on assessment. She also earned sweat equity by volunteering to serve as one of the evaluators for her School's programs. In Spring 05, she pioneered the use of NDNU's Written Communications rubric in her School. She completed the first such evaluation in her School and participated in the analysis of evaluations. Anabel continues to serve on the committee this year, participating in planning, training, and evaluation. She is a key player in NDNU's development of organizational learning related to learning outcomes. It is my hope that NDNU continues to develop Anabel and recommends that she be granted tenure so that I can continue to collaborate with her for the University's and our students' benefit. |
